@Kinesis

Hahaha. Don't worry. Such things do happen. It's natural.

You never realize things until it's too later and all that. However, there is still time for you to achieve your dream.

With regards blogging and websites, yes they certainly have become powerful through the years. Amazing isn't it?

If you're followed enough and you blog, you have some kind of foothold here on the vastness of the world: your everyday thoughts and reactions touch the lives of many.

...That even for something so 'personal' and 'expressive' as writing, marketing still has a say on which ones win the day.

Hope all goes well for you.

Talking about blogs, I hope that someday I can be like you. I want to be able to write articles which are very informative and are capable of helping out people through the insights it has to offer. I just love to read your blogs!

At some point in my life, I've actually considered to be an author and a writer but it's not an easy life so I chickened out of the prospect and decided to go for the conventional salary woman life.

I kind of regret it and have been looking for 'online' options so I can still live out my life long dream while being able to keep my regular job.

I never thought of the possibilities of online publishing to be that powerful. I know blogs and websites but never thought of it that way. My knowledge of these are more on a personal/diary sort of manner so these are very eye opening for me.

Though I feel a little giddy inside knowing there's a chance for me... I feel worried anyway.

In the end, it's a matter of 'chance and opportunity with some streetsmart'. I begin to wonder if I have what it takes to go for it because of the whole 'self promotion' thing.

I read a lot and been doing blogs for almost a year now. I think that the print-on-demand is the best should there be a need for me to publish my books. Many people are now in possession of an e-book reader or Amazon kindle and there are those who just don’t want any clutter in their homes and in this regard, only few will now patronize hard bound books. So, it is best for the writers to have their books published in just a few quantities.
